I momentarily stole this bellhop jacket from my costumer friend (it was just worn snugly by an enormous dude) because I was cold but look look it’s a dress now.

I had a great roommate experience. Even if you are very different people (my roommate was in a sorority and we had different tastes in everything etc etc) it’s not hard to have a harmonious living experience. Be nice, speak up if something they do bothers you (but pick your battles carefully), establish the ground rules as far as sexile and bedtimes and showers as soon as possible, be respectful of their space. It’s ok if you’re not best friends and it’s great if you are. If things start to go really wrong—there are crazies out there, of course— tell Residence Life and make the change no matter how much of a pain in the ass it is. You’ll have a great time.
